About JSPM's Bhivarabai Sawant Institute of Technology & Research
JSPM’s Bhivarabai Sawant Institute of Technology & Research, also known as JSPM BSIOTR, was established in 2009 by the Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (JSPM). JSPM is a charitable educational trust that has emerged as a pioneer in the technical education space with its five campuses across Pune. The JSPM BSIOTR campus is located at Wagholi, Pune, Maharashtra and is known to be among the competent engineering colleges in the region.
JSPM BSIOTR is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Government of Maharashtra. The institute is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with a B++ grade. Moreover, it is affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).
The list of JSPM BSIOTR courses includes BE and ME courses in multiple specialisations, including computer engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, and information technology (IT). The JSPM BSIOTR campus is located on a picturesque landscape at Wagholi, Pune, Maharashtra. The campus is laden with various state-of-art facilities to provide its students with a fulfilling academic experience. The classrooms at the JSPM BSIOTR campus are well-ventilated and fully wifi-enabled. It also has a well-stocked library with an AC reading room.
The list of the common JSPM BSIOTR facilities includes virtual classrooms, hostels, medical facilities, sports facilities, ATM facility, a canteen, and transport facilities. Thecollege arranges several co-curricular activities such as workshops, training sessions, seminars, aptitude tests, and industrial visits to aid the students’ holistic growth.
